Join us for an evening with Judge Kate Hughes of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, as we celebrate International Women’s Day.

Judge Hughes was appointed to the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in January 2006. Her Honour started her legal career at Legal Aid ACT, and prior to her appointment was the Head of Practice at Legal Aid in the Northern Territory.

This is a unique opportunity to hear Judge Hughes speak on her career in the law and journey to the bench. The presentation will be followed by drinks and canapes, with the chance to ask questions and informal networking.

Tickets are $10 for members and $30 for non-members and includes a selection of canapes and drinks. WLA ACT is very grateful to Judge Kate Hughes for generously giving her time for this event.
